Director of Construction – Residential

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Client, a NYC based Owner and full-service management firm of residential properties is looking for a Director of Construction.

They are seeking a well-rounded, ‘take charge’ Director of Construction to manage the renovation and apartment turn around projects in 80 residential properties in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The Director will oversee the in-house construction and maintenance team of 30. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, have solid construction experience and a ‘hands on firm but fair’ management style.

Requirements:

• Construction experience in NYC rental housing
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer relations skills
• Pristine personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a corporate environment
