Current Positions

Seeking experienced candidate for position of Senior Operating Engineer (SOE) at a prestigious midtown/Columbus Circle commercial office building. This is a NON-UNION position. Requirements include a valid and current NYC Refrigeration Engineer license. An FDNY Fire & Life Safety Director (FLSD/F-89) certification will be required, as well as S-12 and S-13 status. Candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance of the building and keeping the property manager (off-site) apprised of issues. The SOE will have an assistant engineer (non-union, non-licensed), and the building is also staffed by a 32BJ lobby attendant holding an FLSD certificate. While responsible for overall building maintenance, the bulk of the candidate’s time and focus will be on servicing and maintaining the HVAC system equipment to the highest standards. The HVAC system is served by a roof cooling tower and is monitored by a BMS system for 20+ air handling units. The ability to interact with tenants on a regular basis is required.
